Uniqlo Sizing FAQ

Does Uniqlo run small?
Yes, about half a size small due to Japanese sizing standards. Tops are more affected than pants. Size up one in most categories.
How does Uniqlo Japanese sizing translate to US?
Generally, add one size. A Uniqlo M is closer to a US S-M. Their XL is closer to a US L. Pants with numeric waist sizes are more accurate.
Are Uniqlo pants true to size?
Closer to true than their tops. Numeric waist sizes (28, 30, 32, etc.) correspond fairly well to actual measurements. Length may be shorter due to Japanese average height.
